About us
The Scottish Garden Show promises to be the perfect day out for gardening enthusiasts and their families who can enjoy the historical setting of Scone Palace, one of Scotland’s most beautiful stately homes, whilst also experiencing a line-up of top nurseries selling quality plants, gardening workshops, competitions and more.
Scone Palace is home to Head Gardener, Brian Cunningham who is also a presenter with BBC’s Beechgrove Garden. Brian has been fundamental in the organisation of The Scottish Garden Show and will be on hand at the Show itself.
Children of all ages will be entertained with an array of activities, including seeding, planting, and garden pallet competitions.

The Scottish Garden Show will also offer a wide array of food and drink stalls so you can enjoy a gastronomic treat as well as a gardening one.
Did you Know?
The cultivation of Scone Palace grounds began in the 12th Century, with more formal landscaping taking place in 1805, just shortly before the world famous tree planter David Douglas, born in the village of Scone in 1799, came to work on the grounds as a gardener. His prolific seed collecting career that took him around the globe helped to create some of the magnificent landscapes that over one hundred thousand visitors to the Palace still enjoy today, some 220 years later.
